After the first round of the PGA Championship, my picks (odds at start shown) had the following rounds:
- Tiger Woods: 1-2 (-5, 1st)
- Padraig Harrington: 1-3 (-4, 2nd)
- Phil Mickelson: 1-5 (+2, T69)
- Stewart Cink: 1-12 (+2, T69)
- Lucas Glover: 1-25 (-1, T17)
- Angel Cabrera: 1-25 (+4, T110)
- Kenny Perry: 1-25 (+2, T69)
- Steve Stricker: 1-25 (+2, T69)
- Field: 2-1
Other good rounds: Robert Allenby, Mathew Goggin, Hunter Mahan, Alvaro Quiros, and David Toms at -3, T3.
It’s beginning to look like we’ve found someone in Paddy Harrington who can actually play with Tiger. Here’s hoping they’ll be in the final group on Sunday for all the marbles.
